Notice of the 134th Annual General Meeting of Grenville Mutual Insurance Company

Grenville Mutual Insurance Company and Halwell Dumfries Mutual Insurance Company are pleased to announce that our Boards of Directors have approved the intention to amalgamate.

The companies have been working together over the course of recent months to assess how we are aligned, as well as the benefits of coming together. A robust due diligence process will continue, and as such, the Boards of Directors and Management teams of Grenville Mutual and HD Mutual will be seeking approval from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), and from the members of each mutual in 2027.

We anticipate holding a Special General Meeting next year. Policyholders will receive advance notice and meeting details when available.
